GMA Overview
GMA, the Graduate and Managerial Assessment series first published in 1985, was the first series of tests published in the UK for graduate recruitment and career development with parallel forms, explicit rationales fo each test, openly published internal quality data and numerous other innovations.
Such was its impact that the market leader in test publishing soon announced a test series with a soundalike name, and the rest of the market followed. But GMA isn't a looklalike, "me too" series, it's pukka, the original, the real thing.
Until now, GMA has only been available in a printed format, not on line. It has been ready for online use since 2005, and if you want to know why it took so long to get to market, ask us and we'll tell you. In fact, it has been in online use since 2008 with a limited client base, although you won't have noticed.
GMA consists of three components, each timed and lasting 30 minutes. It is not intended that candidates should typically attempt all three, although there may be circumstances where this is appropriate. Each test has been separately devised to an explicit rationale, focusing on three key skill areas at a level that is challenging even for the cream of the graduate crop.
